The Genesis Story

Video Coming soon

In this video, I am using the Genesis story to illustrate the power of teaching subordinate to learning.  God didn't tell Adam he needed a help met, but instead, he gave Adam a task.  Why?

I argue that specific kinds of task and questions can help us all to discover the answers in a more meaningful way then strictly telling someone the answer or how to get the answer. Sometimes a task can even work in us the right kinds of questions we need to ask to find the answers we have for other questions.

God knew what kind of help met Adam needed, but Adam didn't know.  Throughout the Bible, God has people do many tasks that they themselves did not understand the purpose of.  But through the task lies the hidden the wisdom of the world, and God desires us all to make those discoveries for ourselves through doing what He calls us to do.
